Remote access to the pre-released Supermicro System

Supermicro's X13 systems, with the fourth generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors, will enable new performance boosts through the use of cutting-edge technology, including DDR5, PCI-e 5.0, Compute Express Link™ 1.1 and Intel® Advanced Matrix Extensions (Intel AMX).

As part of our partnership with Supermicro, we are offering early NDA remote access to a fourth generation Intel XEON and new NVIDIA H100 X13 top-end system. You can test, validate and benchmark your workloads in a few simple steps. Register here and choose from the two available server models:

How it works

1. Registration

Please register here for the JumpStart program.

2. Confirmation

You will receive a welcome email from Supermicro requiring you to confirm your NDA information (Supermicro Special NDA and Intel CNDA) in order to schedule your access to the JumpStart server.

3. Access

You will then receive a unique username, password, and URL that you can use to access the JumpStart server.

The advantage of Supermicro X13

Deploy systems optimized for tomorrow's data center workloads

Performance optimized

Improved thermal capacity to support the most powerful CPUs and GPUs, as well as support for the latest industry technologies such as PCIe 5.0, DDR5, CXL 1.1, and high-bandwidth memory.

energy efficient

Systems with optimal airflow for operation in high-temperature data center environments with temperatures up to 40 °C, optional rack-scale liquid cooling solutions, and in-house development of Titanium Level power supplies for maximum efficiency.

Improved security and manageability

Compliance with industry standards for hardware and silicon Root of Trust (RoT), cryptographic validation of components throughout the supply chain, and comprehensive remote management capabilities.

Support for open industry standards

Future-proof and interoperable by supporting Open Compute Project (OCP) standards such as OCP 3.0, OAM, ORV2 and OSF, as well as Open BMC and the E1.S memory form factor.

Supermicro's proven Building Block Solutions® approach and industry-leading first-to-market advantage enables it to deliver state-of-the-art and secure systems for the most demanding AI, cloud and 5G edge requirements. The systems support high-performance CPUs and DDR5 memory with up to 2x performance and capacities of up to 512 GB DIMMs, as well as PCIe 5.0, which doubles I/O bandwidth.
The Intel® Xeon® Max Series CPUs are also available in a range of Supermicro X13 systems. In addition, high ambient temperature environments of up to 40°C are supported, with servers designed for optimal efficiency through air and liquid cooling, and
optimized for rack operation through open industry-standard designs and enhanced security and manageability.

POWERED BY SCALABLE
INTEL® XEON® PROCESSORS OF THE 4. GENERATION

Intel® Xeon® processors, formerly codenamed Sapphire Rapids, are designed to deliver high-performance data infrastructure from the cloud to the network to the intelligent network edge. They set a new standard in data center architecture, delivering remarkable compute performance for traditional data center applications with unique, purpose-built workload optimizations for the performance of today's elastic computing models such as cloud microservices and artificial intelligence.

MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE WITH NEXT GENERATION
INDUSTRY STANDARD TECHNOLOGIES

High Bandwidth Memory

Up to four times more memory bandwidth, providing up to 2.8x performance improvement over 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors with two to three times performance improvement on weather, energy, manufacturing and physics workloads.

PCIe 5.0

Double the I/O bandwidth of the previous generation PCIe 4.0. At 32G, next-generation PCIe 5.0 not only provides faster execution of today's applications, but also enables new applications in AI/ML and cloud computing.

DDR5

Provides a significant advantage for Intel-based platforms with more than double the performance of DDR4 and capacities of up to 512 GB.

Compute Express Link (CXL) 1.1

Industry-supported cache coherent interconnect for processors, memory expansions, and accelerators.

ACCELERATION MOTORS IN SCALABLE

Frequently asked questions

How can I access the JumpStart server?
Call https://jumpstart.supermicro.com and use the login data provided to you.

Please also refer to the instructions you received with your access data.
How many sessions can I have open at the same time?
Currently, sessions are limited to one VNC and one SSH session per server for this NDA program.
Can I change my password?
For security reasons, the password is preconfigured on the JumpStart/Guacamole server, which serves as a proxy for the X13 server, which is located behind a firewall. You can change the JumpStart/Guacamole server credentials that supermicro provides, but if you change the credentials on the X13 server itself, the proxy/JumpStart server cannot connect.

Passwords are randomly generated for each user and are stored only on the computers. The first time you access the JumpStart server, you must set up 2-factor authentication (2FA). Please follow the instructions in the Getting Started Guide that you received.
What happens to the server when I am done with my demo?
The server is safely wiped manually, the BIOS and firmware are reflashed, and the operating system is reinstalled with new credentials.
Is the X13 Hyper server on a public IP address?
No, the server can access the Internet to retrieve files, but it is not directly connected to the Internet. The server is used as a proxy to give you access to the server you were given permission to access.
Should I process sensitive data on the demo server?
Please use anonymized data only, as this server may have different security policies than your organization.
Is the data we leave on the server backed up?
No, the server will be completely reset after each demo and your data will be completely erased. Backups are also not made, so please do not store any important/sensitive data on the demo platforms as it will be deleted.

If the default JumpStart configuration does not meet your testing requirements, please contact your Supermicro representative or email us at FastTrack2SMC@supermicro.com to discuss your requirements and explore other options for deploying the desired solution.
